Specified business entities who produce or use containers and wrapping are required by the Containers and Packaging Recycling Law to accept items that conform to the sorting standards from the local government and produce recycled materials (flake and pellet).
When a specified business entity pays the Japan Containers and Packaging Recycling Association (JCPRA) recycling fees, and a job is consigned to a recycling entity by JCPRA, the obligations of the law are then carried out.
